Explore The 2023 Toyota Sequoia

Power and Performance

Under the hood, a 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged i-FORCE MAX Hybrid PowertrainTM V6 will supply all the power you require. In order to provide smooth performance, the effective powerplant partners with a 10-speed automatic transmission to provide 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque.

For those who like to take on greater adventure, four-wheel drive is available; the TRD Pro comes standard with the drivetrain system. With a 9,000-pound maximum towing capacity, you'll never have to worry about leaving anything behind.

Exterior and Interior Design

Second-row passengers either sit on benches or captain's seats, depending on the grade, both of which recline for passenger comfort or fold down/tumble forward if more cargo room is required. The third row of passengers has a roomy reclining backseat with power folding as an option.

The Sequoia also distinguishes itself with outstanding tech and safety features in addition to its performance. A 14-inch touchscreen, a rearview mirror with a digital display, and a Panoramic picture Monitor, which shows a top-down picture of the SUV and its surroundings, are features that drivers can appreciate. Options include a hitch view to help with trailer connection and a rear split view to show what's nearby on each side of the trailer. Power-folding, extending, and retractable tow mirrors are now standard equipment on Sequoia, which can provide you extra peace of mind when towing a trailer.

Technology

A new multimedia system, which was first introduced in Tundra, is installed in the Sequoia. The centerpiece is a sizable 8-inch or optional 14-inch touchscreen that operates the brand-new Toyota Audio Multimedia system. New sight, touch, and voice activation enhance the user experience of the Toyota Audio Multimedia system.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is a standard feature on all Sequoia trim levels. Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection is part of this active safety system. It has several improvements over the previous generation, including the ability to detect not only the vehicle ahead but also pedestrians in low light, cyclists during the day, oncoming traffic, and pedestrians at intersections when turning.  An additional feature called emergency steering aid is intended to identify pedestrians, stabilize the driver's emergency evasive steering motions, and assist in preventing lane departure.
