The 2019 Toyota RAV4 is completely redesigned and poised to impress

In case you missed the memo, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 is completely redesigned for the new model year! It has stunning new looks, updated technology, brand-new features, and enhanced power. We know you're going to fall in love with this popular small SUV, and we've got plenty in stock at our Batavia dealership. Here are just a few of the major changes we think you'll be most excited about, and we also touch on our most popular Toyota RAV4 trim.

Extra Performance

The RAV4 for 2019 offers more power than in previous years. Last year, the 2.5L engine served up 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft torque. This year, you'll get 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque to help power your commutes around Medina. The Adventure trim that debuted last year is still available, and it can still tow up to 3,500 pounds when you get an AWD model.

New Smartphone Technology

Before this model year, the only infotainment system Toyota offered was their proprietary Entune system, which did get upgraded for 2019. They've now powered with Apple and the impressive Apple CarPlay™ platform, and it's standard on the Toyota RAV4 and a few other new Toyota models. You'll like seeing familiar icons and being able to use the map app if you don't have a Toyota with built-in navigation.

Android Auto is not yet available on the 2019 Toyota RAV4, but if you get the Toyota Remote Connect you can use your Apple or Android smartwatch to remotely unlock/lock or start your RAV4. Amazon's Alexa also comes onboard for some savvy assistance.

Enhanced Safety

The previous Toyota RAV4 came with the Toyota Safety Sense™ package. These advanced technologies are perfect for highway travel, quick changes in the city, or driving around Albion. The package consisted of the following:

  • Pre-collision system with pedestrian Detection
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

It was an already comprehensive setup, but engineers took it step further for the 2019MY by giving the RAV4 Toyota Safety Sense 2.0™ that has these three updates:

  • Road Edge Detection
  • Lane Tracing Assist
  • Road Sign Assist

New Mirror Technology

The RAV4 is also breaking ground for the Toyota lineup. It's the first new Toyota that has an available digital rearview mirror, and once it's enabled you're able to see a wide range. It's also nice if you're moving or helping with an event in Le Roy and have a full backseat; when this happens, you flip to the digital view and can then see what's behind you, despite all the boxes!

Meet the Base

At our dealership, the RAV4 LE base trim is generally our best-stocked option. Even though it's the first in the RAV4 lineup, it still comes back with some impressive features that will make your commutes from Attica a real pleasure. Below are the standard RAV4 LE features, and we point out the available add-ons.

  • Multi-LED headlights
  • Backup camera that displays a projected path
  • 4.2-inch information display
  • Fabric seats
  • Remote keyless entry
  • 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™
  • Toyota Safety Sense 2.0™
  • Bluetooth for hands-free calls and music streaming

Add-ons include blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and a cargo cover to keep away prying eyes if you tend to have a lot in the back of your RAV4. The base can also upgrade to an AWD system, and with that you'll receive Multi-Terrain Select technology.
